hey California, i leave you alone for a week and what do you do? you go out and behave like a crazy college kid and elect Schwarzenegger.
just another triumph of style over substance (or Hollywood over Sacramento), but there's a good side to it. it's more than likely that Arnie will fail in fixing all the budget problems and social issues and that would lead to even more desaster for the Republican Party and it'll especially hurt G.W.Bush who faces a tough election year. and should Arnie succeed - against all expectations - and repair California, well than that's good enough for me.
Let's wait for the next recall...

[Later:] at least my friends in Santa Clara County voted for Cruz Bustamante. Mostly southern California (L.A. and Orange County) made S. possible.
