Dave Winer does it again
various weblogs hosted previously on weblogs.com (e.g. moorbek.weblogs.com) have been switched off. while i can understand the reasoning behind it (»I can't afford to host these sites. I don't want to start a site hosting business. These are firm, non-negotiable statements«), i think it's extremely rude to do this without warning and even more hypocritical to leave some selective weblogs like doc.weblogs.com online.
