@Gunnar: using a Mac? :-)
the scrollbar issue is still something that needs to be fixed - there's even a note on
bugzilla. i might add a Mac version with this fix.

Very nice. I especially like the less tall tabs. I just wish you could get rid of the yellow background on the location bar.

@Tim: the yellow background in the location bar is only visible when you are connected to a secure website (https) and is therefor extremely useful.

With Orbit now available for FF I just might switch from Mozilla. Can't have a browser without Orbit. Thanks!

Please make Orbit Gray for firefox 1.0...it ment everything to my browser back in the 9.x days. Dont ever remove the red candylike stop button from the themes...it rocks!

Hope you'll do one for Thunderbird as well. The default theme isn't very nice.

Thank you for doing this theme, but is anyone else having a problem with the update button? It's taking up a space on my toolbar, but there is no icon and no way that I can find to remove it.
[answer: the update button is only visible when there are updates available. to "remove" it, you can always go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Software Update and uncheck the two boxes there. HTH - Andreas]

Upgraded and lost Orbit Gray, will you be updating it for 1.0? Hope so, it's my favorite theme.
Excellent design. Your work is appreciated.

Just wanted to add to the general chorus of those wishing for a Grey version, and to hope you'll do same for Thunderbird ... but in meantime thanx so much for the Yellow. It's the only Orbit I've found for 1.0 and all the other themes are yuk! in comparison.

I was hoping you were going to do Orbit for Firefox. It's far and wide my favorite skin for Mozilla and now we've got it for Firefox. Thanks, you the man!

I've been using your theme for years on Mozilla... Looking at Firefox, I decided to switch but... only if Orbit was available. And it is! I use it at work on a PC and at home on a Mac... Now I just switched to Thunderbird because it's incredibly great (virtual folders, news/blogs integrated reading... woaw!). But no Orbit yet... Ouch. Thunderbird is a "coup de poing dans l'oeil" ("a fist in the eye" (?)) without Orbit... Please, God, save the online world from ugliness... ;-) Thanks

Andreas, while I don't quite think you are a god, I do thank you for this excellent update of what is basically the Px Classic theme - my all time favorite.
Thumbs up for fixing the missing email icon and for using a decent throbber animation too. Very nice indeed.

couldn't find a way to rate your theme or put up a comment on the mozilla site, so I'll add my opinion here. Just wanted to say thanks, great theme. I'm gonna install it on all my computers ;-)
[34]
Das ist mit Abstand (!) das "most sexy theme alive"!
Vielen Dank! Da macht Firefox gleich doppelt so viel Spaß. Man möchte die stylischen Knöpfe richtig anfassen. Schade, dass es dieses Theme nicht für Thunderbird gibt. Planst Du etwas in der Richtung?
Grüße, Hannes

[see comment #6 and my update note - mac osx will get its own setup]

Looking forward to the OrbitGrey version as well! I'm still using a hacked version of the old OrbitGrey0.2.1 that doesn't always work very well with the current FF1.0+

Please, please, please create a version compatible with Mac OS X scrollbars. Orbit is the only Firefox theme worth using (I was crushed when I couldn't use Orbit Grey when Firefox was updated to 1.0, and ecstatic to find a new Orbit release). The scrollbars are the only thing wrong with this wonderful theme, and they can be really annoying.

Thanks. My only gripe is that the stop button is grey and should be red since red is universal for stop and breaks the monotony.
[right you are - the original orbit grey had a red stop button too. i'll fix that for the next version. Andreas]

One other thing... the unfocused tabs got an black "shadowline" and the original orbit grey had a white one... :D nothing really importent but something I get irritated at (yeah I know I´m being ridiculous)

Love the Orbit theme. LOVE IT. Have been using it for ages for various mozilla/netscape products and I can't believe it continues to blow all competition out of water.
I would like to add mine to the chorus of voices asking for an Orbit theme for Thunderbird. Quite frankly all existing themes are pathetic and really detract from the usefulness of an otherwise fine product.
Keep up the excellent work.
