IBM out - Intel inSo
Apple is switching to Intel. I wonder how much that has to do with the fact that IBM still isn't able to provide mobile G5 processors for notebooks. We already know that
notebooks outsell desktops and while that's a lucrative market, Apple wasn't able to evolve their Powerbooks to this vital next step.
Of course there's a lot of other reasons for a business decision of that magnitude, let's wait if we'll see Mac OS X running on x86 architecture or if Intel is cooking up something new altogether.
